AquaMax Products
AquaMax G200
The original Aquamax. Some of these models can be nearly 30 years old, however, we can still source most common parts and burners for this system. This has a stainless steel cylinder that is very long lasting and well made.
Older models do suffer from corrosion of the external and internal case.
If you do need to replace this unit,the closest replacement for this model is the Aquamax G390SS.
AquaMax 270
This is a smaller Aquamax, it has a 130 litre tank, the older ones have steel cylinders (VE model), the newer ones have stainless steel cylinders (SS model).
We can still source parts for this model.
If you do need to replace this unit, the closest replacement for this model is the Aquamax G270SS or if you need more volume, then the larger Aquamax G390SS.
AquaMax 340
Some of these units can be around 20 years old, so they may be due for some form of repair. Most of these units are still worth repairing as they have a stainless steel cylinder.
If someone else tells you that you need to replace your Aquamax 340, then get a second opinion from us!
If it has a water leak on the left side, we can repair it.
If you do need to replace this unit, the closest replacement for this model is the Aquamax G340SS, or if you need more volume, then the larger Aquamax G390SS.
AquaMax G205/G390SS
These models are similar, so we have grouped them together. Some of these units can be around 20 years old, so they may be due for some form of repair. Most of these units are still worth repairing as they have a stainless steel cylinder.
If someone else tells you that you need to replace your Aquamax, then get a second opinion from us!

Dux Products
Dux Proflo Series
The Proflo range are external units, normally 135 litres but also available as 170 litres.
If you do need to replace this unit, the closest replacement for this model is the Dux Proflo, Vulcan Freeloader or for extra performance the Aquamax G390SS.
Hardie Dux
Dux have been manufacturing hot water systems in Australia for decades. Some of the older models are branded Hardie Dux and before that Braemar.

Dux Prodigy
The Dux Prodigy brand has been on the market for a considerable time. These Australian made hot water systems come in mainly 135 and 170 litre tank size configurations.
If you do need to replace this unit, the closest replacement for this model is the Dux Proflo,Vulcan Freeloader or for extra performance the Aquamax G390SS.
Dux Sunpro
The Sunpro range comes in various configurations. The one shown here is a gas storage with solar panels on the roof.
If you need to replace this unit, it depends if you want to stay with solar?
Non solar replacement option would be an Aquamax G390SS.

Rheem Products
Rheem Stellar Series
The Rheem Stellar is a premium hot water system, it has been in production for around 20 years. It's a 5 star efficient hot water system. It has proven to be a very reliable hot water system. It has a glass lined steel tank.
It comes in two sizes, the 330 and the 360 litre. The 130 litre tank model provides 330 litres in the first hour and the 160 litre tank model delivers 360 litres in the first hour.
Ideal replacement is the Aquamax G390SS or another Rheem Stellar.
Rheem External 135 Litre
These Rheem units are common in many thousands of households. They have been a proven product over the years with their reliable and durable performance.
If you do need to replace this unit, the closest replacement for this model is the Vulcan Freeloader, Rheem 4 Star or for extra performance the Aquamax G390SS.
Rheem External 170 Litre
Some of these Rheem units date back to the early 1980's. We still see working ones in the field, however, they're getting old enough now that you may need to consider a replacement.
If you do need to replace this unit, the closest replacement for this model is the Vulcan Freeloader, Rheem 4 Star or for extra performance the Aquamax G390SS.
Rheem 265
The Rheem 265 is a 5 star efficiency unit.
It's still in production today. If you needed to replace it, we would probably recommend an Aquamax G390SS or another Rheem 265.
Vulcan Products
Vulcan Freeloader 1 & 2
Vulcan Freeloader 1. The original Freeloader was a revolutionary design, higher in efficiency and was advertised as providing 73 days free hot water compared to a conventional system. It has rounded corners.
Vulcan Freeloader 2.It was superseded by a squarer newer designed model as seen in this image.
If you needed to replace this, we would recommend the Aquamax G390SS.
Vulcan Hotshot
The Vulcan Hotshot was made by Rheem, it's an entry level system that proved to be very durable and reliable. Available in various sizes, the most common being the 135 litre.
If you do need to replace this unit, the closest replacement for this model is the Vulcan Freeloader, Rheem 4 Star or for extra performance the Aquamax G390SS.
Vulcan HotShot 2
This model is virtually identical to it's predecessor, it was also made by Rheem. Made in Australia, it has proven to be very long lasting.

Vulcan Freeloader 3
Vulcan Freeloader 3. This is the replacement for the Hotshot. It's really the same as a Hotshot although Rheem rebooted the Freeloader name.
This is our go to 135 Litre system. It's a durable and reliable 135 Litre unit.
