We are a local family based plumbing business that specialises in providing hot water solutions and we understand that you may want a heat pump system.
*
Firstly we do not do the free installs that you may read about in social media, this is because we only install brands such as Rheem, Everhot, Rinnai, Reclaim, Thermann or systems we think have good reliability. We assist you with completing Government rebates and offer them as a price deduction on the system you choose.
*
Potentially you could qualify for up to 3 rebates, this could equate to approximately $2300 (depends on individual circumstances and means test by Gov't).
*
We are a genuine local family based business and we actually live in the area. We do however cover areas as far reaching as Cranbourne, Seaford or Hastings. If not sure, call us and ask.
*
We have more updates coming soon.
More About Heat Pump Hot Water
Heat pumps can sometimes be a good choice when you need to replace your old electric or gas system.
*
Our tip here is do your research. Read independent reviews and look into what noise levels some electric heat pumps make and think of your neighbours and where bedrooms are in your house and also in relation to theirs.
*
Did I say read independent reviews?
*
The last thing you want is a noise complaint after investing in your new hot water system. They are not for everyone and don't be scared to investigate normal electric hot water or the new smart electric systems as an option. It can still be cost effective over the long term. Look at a 10 year picture including longevity of system, maintenance, repairs and not just the running cost savings.
*
An OH&S requirement by us if you want a large electric system installed, we need clear level access to the installation site and no heavy lifting is required. Some of these systems can weigh over 170 kg's, they are BIG. As a comparison a very common gas unit such as a Rinnai Infinity only weighs 17 kg.
*
Did you Know?
Some of these units cannot be laid down or even tilted on an angle more than 45 degrees?
*
You need to make sure the system and brand you select has an adequate warranty. Good quality Heat Pumps are expensive, they are a complicated piece of equipment and are often made up with multiple assemblies that link together.
*
You also need to think about your power source and maybe time you want your system operating. The size of your system is also critical, you do not want to be continually running out and then waiting for a re heat period. In short, a lot more to consider.
*
For people going from gas hot water to heat pump, you need to make sure you have adequate room as they are much larger and need good clearance. Many gas units such continuous flow systems are extremely small and unobtrusive, so take this into consideration.
*
Ideally we recommend you do the research, select a brand and model/size that suits your requirements and we will quote a supplied and installed price for you.
*
Understanding the operation of a heat pump is important as it is not uncommon for them to run out of hot water , they can struggle sometimes in the cold weather in our climate. They work totally different to gas. We cannot emphasise enough, do adequate research and also check independent reviews online.
We cover the Mornington Peninsula, Cranbourne and Surrounding Regions.
