Our customer was running out of hot water with their old electric storage system. They used to also worry when their family would come down to stay that they would run out of hot water. The old system was under the house, the new location chosen was outside. The Rinnai B26 was chosen as usage patterns varied. Our customer did not want to run out of hot water so there is really only one choice.
We also arranged a rebate from the gas distributor because our customer went from electricity to gas. We assisted our customer claiming a State Government rebate as natural gas is an efficient form of heating water compared to element based electric hot water. All up our customer was able to claim nearly $1500 in rebates which helped to reduce the installation price.
